What kind of store are we exactly??

Cecils was created by my niece, Kimberly Wilkinson, and me to give not only ourselves, but local crafters a place to sell their products.
What kind of products you ask?  Well, let's see, we have everything from an old rustic saw to handmade home decor, from painted dressers to handcrafted wreaths. If someone can repurpose it or hand make it, we probably have it.
Hey, but not only do we have dog beds and crocheted mermaids, we sell a fabulous chalk based paint line. I promise you, try it because it's the most affordable chalk based paint on the market, and you will fall in love. Never picked up a paintbrush? Want to? Well, Cecil's is the perfect place to come to to get great advice on painting your first piece of furniture. Ummmm, still scared?  Again, we've got ya covered. Cecil's offer in home paint classes. Grab a couple of friends and a small piece of furniture and we wi come to you!!  More on that in a later post. Check us out!! I'm posting a fee pictures of things we currently have in the store. See something you can't live without?  You better hurry on over, it won't be there long. Cecil's changes all the time!!  Have a blessed day and happy pickin'.

We Are Here, We Are Here

Sooooo, we aren't very good at this blogging thing. BUT, we are gonna be better. We are going to learn how to do it one way or the other. HA!  Be patient with us 😜.

First, Kimberly and I want to thank everyone that came out to Cecil's Pickin' Palooza yesterday. From our vendors to our customers. We love and appreciate you all. We also want to thank our brand new customers, first time ever visiting our store yesterday. It was so great meeting new people.

We had so many customers tell us they had no idea we even existed. We blame that mostly on the lack of signage we are able to display in front of our store. We are in a terrific community and our location is perfect. We are just in a bad spot. So, we need your help to get us noticed. We advertise on facebook, but as we are discovering, not EVERYBODY uses facebook. I thought EVERYBODY was on facebook. Nope. (Sometimes I don't blame them). So, can you help us out by doing one (or all) of the following?

  • Like us on Facebook
  • SHARE our Facebook page and blog with all of your family and friends.
  • Bring a friend that's never visited Cecil's with you to the store (while you're there "check in" for a chance to win a gift certificate)
  • Tell everyone you know exactly where we are located!
  • Give us some suggestions as to how we can let people know WE ARE HERE!
Thank you in advance!!  We truly have a great little store
That offers something for everyone. If you haven't been in lately WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
We are open Thursday thru Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 12-4. SEE YOU SOON and happy pickin'!
